Singles matches of the WTA tournament Croatia Bol Open kick-off on Tuesday at 11'o clock. Four players will be representing Croatia. Ana Biskic qualified with a win over a German, Jasmin Jebawy with 6:2, 6:4 while Ani Mijacika lost to Chia-Jung Chuang from Chinese Taipei, 6:3, 7:6(4).
Ajla Tomljanovic will be playing against Maria Sakarti from Greece while Ana Biskic opens against a Macedonian Lina Gjorcheska. Tena Lukas is playing against a Swiss Xenia Knoll who qualified for the main tournament. Knoll is returning to Bol after winning a title in doubles alongside Petra Martic the last year. Fourth Croatian player in the first round will be Tereza Mrdeza who meets Prarthana Thombare from India.
